@hell_satan thats only if they fight directly, but no matter who is backing the commoner a noble would win be default. Modern society is completely plentely different from a noble society. A noble can execute a commoner without even a trial in these kind of cases. Modern politics only works the way it does because people have rights, and modern politics sinply abuses the loopholes of those rights.

Not to mention there is little reason for nobles to stake their dignity on the line to defend a commoner from another noble. They can get plenty of other commoners.

@eng1 One its loosely base on medieval Europe but doesn't have to be the same people will always find a way to complain did it even follow the same logic as medieval Europe were if you just bump into a noble and they can kill I think not they have adventurers they have divine cock so they definitely have different rules heck the guys they spoke too was called sheriff as I remember back in those times there is no police or any law enforcement I think it was citizen arrest is the norm where citizen would do the arresting and handing over to guard, now in this case the guy has a lot of connection that's why he can get away scot free.

Raising the hue and cry - basically, calling on fellow villagers to chase the criminal. If villagers failed to join then the village could be fined.
Tithings - adult men were put into groups of ten. If one member of the ten broke the law, it was the responsibility of the others to catch the culprit and take him to court.

So basically from the start there are already difference in the logic and law enforcement in the story to real life that why its loosely base on medieval Europe so even if she is a noble if she doesn't' have authority then she might noble able to do a difference its a different story if her father gets invollve.
