Oh wow it only took 5 chapters to get to the "twist" that I already predicted in the 1st chapter discussion (no I did not read the source material), shocking. The only thing I cared to ask about in this chapter; did anyone else notice how Mondo's place has trash everywhere? Thanks for the translations.

Yo you noticed that too. Yep Also looked a little run down, and dirty compared to Ayana Hoshimiya's place.
She herself looks well groomed, and such on the outside. I get how Riku Kuromine feels hearing what happened, but I hear the way he treats her after this is pretty childish, and bad. Frankly if it's true. He's not such a good guy after all, and deserved to be rejected by his childhood friend.

You know I thought that this would be a good manga a wholesome romcom about a guy dating a gyaru with a childhood friend who helped recover from trauma trying to shoot her shot a below mid manga pretty much. But I could've never expected this W H Y for what purpose did the author do this.

I could accept the plot twist (even if it was visible from ten miles away) if the delivery made sense. The characters in this stupid story just doesn't add up. Shenanigans include but not limited to

1. girl rejects guy, but then girl becomes jealous of guy getting close to another girl PRECISELY because she rejected guy in the first place
2. guy and girl falling in love in absolutely no time at all
3. everyone is somehow mentally damaged and/or suicidal
4. the most recent one, taking your own lives after causing a deadly accident?????? knowing that a middle schooler was left alive??????????? and also their own daughter?????????

the author really just took a box full of trauma tropes and instead of carefully selecting them to piece a story, he just threw the entirety of the box's content into a draft and called it a day.

Commit suicide after you accidentally kill some family on traffic and leave behind your only daughter to live on her own instead of taking the responsibility to adopt the only child that survive the accident.

No good people will do that. They are just coward with mental disease.

I kinda get why MC would do that. He lost everything, his entire family died in that accident which was completely the driver's fault. I wouldn't be surprised if he resented everyone associated with them.
