The story is getting more absurd. In one night, many advanced technologies that are difficult for MC to counter, appear on the enemy side

Takuma Tomomasa doesn't have a good track record as a story writer. His stories never last long, only 3 volumes at most.

Story screwed itself, suddendly the medieval magic fantasy world have fucking sci-fi tech even the MC can't analize, replicate or counter.
Somehow the enemy trapped someone with sci-fi tech, that she can use without problems, and she helped them break in MC base instead of escaping or asking aslum as a ally, PURE BULLSHIT.
This is like a isekai where the MC brings guns and then suddendly everyone have guns.
Worse than when Naruto upgraded from Ninja village to sci-fi with super computers, at least there it was gradual, stupid yes, but slow.

I understand that otherway MC had no real enemy but that was the nice part, just make that humans have magic he can't simply copy and that bypasses sci-fi tech defenses.
They've had that tech from the start, possibly from advances in tech from his own empire, that he missed due to getting lost in space. He's known about the advanced tech since being told about the Guinea Alchemists that make the money for every major country.

And it was already foreshadowed when “magic” was first analyzed and found to be something similar to the nanotechnology that the Empire used (hence why Alan’s nanotech AI implant could replicate it), and dragons were found to be similar to a race that had already been integrated into the Empire.

Wait... so they are going with the fan fic story line after chapt 46? Or author is hired by the manga publisher to continue working on the story. Because this reads like the fan fic continuation.

Any reason why the people at LH didn't upload it themselves
Here’s the thing: they used to do that, back in the heyday. Now they don’t hang around here so you might wanna ask them in their discord (or wait for one of their crew to pass by occasionally)

If you're already saying that now, then you're really not going to like the next few chapters. I recommend y'all to wait until at least ch. 52.
If he sold humanity to the bugs and has been collaborating with them i will forgive him everything

This has really fucked itself over through power creep. You can't just introduce things like drone strikes, massive surveillance networks, etc and hope to keep any sense of tension.
Actually, they could turn things around. This is the first world discovered with magic, perhaps with MC conquering the lands, a kingdom or two can start developing magic at a rapid pace, and perhaps said magic could be quite effective at taking out MC's forces.
Who's to say there can't be an atom bomb spell? A spell to immediately teleport behind someone, just to stab them, and then teleport away? An EMP spell?
So I could see this evening out, but unfortunately I don't think that's the direction the writer would take this. We're likely to see people with super computers, power armour, and laser cannons losing fights to people with bows n' arrows. :pout:

Very likely the goddess, likely some super Ai tera forming experiment, would destroy the wrecked ship in orbit if it tried to help too much.
It literally destroyed it when it was just passing by.
What?
I don't remember this. From which chapterv

Thanks for the translation :)
As to me the story is still going properly.
There are possibilities for the author to make mistake, but let's not be pessimist.

My earlier celebrations aside, I have a gut feeling that this is going to be the final arc before axe. :shamihuh:

For the first time since ranking system implemented on the official site, this manga has kicked out of top ten. Come on author...

Btw, I'm not against the appearance of high-tech weaponry on the villain side, but make it appear gradually as the story progresses, not BAM!... suddenly appear out of nowhere in one night.

I get the impression that the effective use of military equipment and ordinance is exactly what's going to happen. From my perspective, I think a cluster bomb strikes from a camouflaged drone isn't beyond reason once these duds start actually moving twords Corinth's boarders. Wouldn't be too hard to decapitate their leadership at the same time either.
That's what I was afraid would happen, I think they introduced to much advanced tech to soon. The powers of this world couldn't possibly hold a candle to the, what could really threaten them at this point? I'm not entirely against the occasional curb stomp battle to show a characters growth if it's earned but with how things are now it looks like it'll be nothing but stomps for the foreseeable future.
I hope I'm wrong but it looks like it's going to devolve farther into standard isekai garbage. It's too bad, I like the basic premise a lot but the execution has been so-so.

Some of those ideas sound fun and would make for a pretty good read but I doubt they'll go with anything like that. How nice would it be to see the other factions start breaking out ancient archotech that they barely understand or having a small cluster of bugs show up before they're ready to fight them. There are a lot of ways this could work but I don't see them going for it.

My assumption was that the increased pace was exactly because no planetside threats would be significant, though the introduction of other overtechnology from the spy a few chapters ago calls that into question again. I may have to re-read that chapter again, but it’s highly possible someone else from the empire was on this planet at some point and left behind technology for those they trusted. It’s possible this is where the Guinea Alchemint machines came from too.
There’s also the possibility of someone in the forest settlement stealing technology to rival them to an extent.

But yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an empire-building montage or even a time-skip to speed us towards a bug encounter. But that unrivalled exponential growth would be pretty boring compared to fighting against another technological civilisation all the way past being space-faring. I’d like to think the author isn’t silly enough to make an army without overtechnology into a significant threat. Even without the drone-strikes and surveillance and grey goo, they have a dragon and highly efficient custom magical tools. That’s enough to roast and deter a lot of conventional troops.
