So, it has been revealed that somewhere on the planet, high-tier technology exists and the Goddess is likely an advanced AI.

This technology and the Goddess have likely been on the planet for a long time, significantly before Alan arrived.

My big question is this:"What about the bugs?"

Alan's first thought after seeing the planet's general level of technological advancement was that the bugs would immediately destroy the whole population as soon as they discover it. He decided to begin his grand quest to unify the planet in order to prepare for a bug invasion.

Are the local high-tech forces and the Goddess aware of the bug threat? Have they already made plans to deal with it?

This is currently the biggest plot point I want to see addressed.
The technology was definitely on the planet for a long time. The entire economy is based on coins produced by fabricators that even Alan's ship can't replicate, and the Adventurer's Guild uses quantum entanglement communicators to keep the branches networked together.
The Goddess told Alan that he has to "fulfill his duty to Humanity", so she seems to know about the Empire and their policy of uplifting any local Human populations, and that he intends to unite the planet in order to rush the tech tree. So I think it's very likely that the Goddess knows about the Bug threat, and wants Alan to get the planet ready.

As for the locals who have magic tool siege weapons, we haven't seen any indication that they know about the galactic war.

I'm going full ballistic if all that standby shit is "unintentional" instead of actively defending the city walls and then they're like "what? They breached our impregnable walls!"
Literally the sci-fi part of this is for mc to be invincible to this medieval era so I'm gonna fucking lose my shit if that wall breach ain't part of plan to just fully attack the enemies in one fell swoop.

Good lord, I can't believe AI Iris hasn't attempted any kind of aerial attack on the besiegers. I can understand that the technological gap isn't that big anymore with that kind of artillery on the enemy side but I don't understand why they're attacking unimpeded. Did they forget they have artillery to counterattack?

Unless this is part of a plan to lure the enemy forces into an artillery kill-zone, I just can't accept how his base is twiddling their thumbs and passively waiting for the outer walls to break... when they have access to UAVs, heavy artillery and ranged weaponry. At least maybe show us that Alois-Verta forces have magic shields to repel artillery and drone strikes or something, so we have an excuse why the enemy has broken the walls with impunity.
