From what the vision made it seems like whatever the spirits that the nanons substitute for are, they, or at least some part of them that seems to be Luminas, approves of his actions.
Of course, it helps that his goal is not for personal power or anything like that but to help get the world ready to protect itself when it will be needed.

And it seems that magic is of the mind that sufficiently advanced technology is the same as magic. Outright.

But...
I don't get the meaning of the crest. I went to compare it with the clan symbol but the closest think is having a six point star as a base?

Possibly but I'm also in the opinion it'll be that a "god" projected that wether the "god" is really a god or like a computer ai thats crash landed there we'll have to see.

The Clan symbol is based on Imperial Galactic Navy. He added some extra stuff in the background

Spoiler: forced warp out theory.

I am also almost certain the forced warp out was due to those spirits or the goddess when you look at the fact that the empire hasnt figured out a way to do it. the bugs wouldnt have either as stated they learn from the empires tech. Soooo it would appear that the goddess (or spirits/higher being) wanted them there to increase the technology to fight the bugs they have forseen coming.

I dunno about the novel, but it's the Galactic Empire's symbol. You can see it on the ships in chapter 1

I suppose it makes sense he would use it since if it spreads, and that the Empire eventually finds the planet they'll know somebody else from the empire was there. Or something like that.

as stated above in another comment, its the navy's symbol with a couple things added onto it. Go to chapter 1 page 1 if u wanna see it yourself.

Smart of him to do that so when the Navy finally comes in a few hundred years, they know who to trust just by looking at the crest.
