@Kuokkanen you should check Maou to Yuusha no Tatakai no Ura de for good women armours, the only con is the lack of helmets! It's like all those manga (tbh ,many movies do the same bs) forget how vulnerable the head is

Yanno, there was a great Manga about an armored combat academy with MC, supporting cast, and everybody being female while heavy-fighting; it really gave a good impression as to how to draw and actually move in different types of real armour.

As to the helmet thing, I notice that even "serious" movies screw this up, and they largely do it for No Reason! The stated reason for having knights, warriors, and even modern soldiers going full Action Jackson without a helmet is to ensure that the audience can see the actors' faces.
BUT.
That's dumb; I mean, take a look at "Saving Private Ryan," or the entire series' of "Band of Brothers," and "The Pacific;" hell, anything with John Wayne!
They always have a helmet on, and we can see who they are with ease.

It just seems lazy, honestly.
