okay... i understand the initial plot of MC turning back time so he can redo his life as a red mage and get strong earlier, but using time travel as a "plot device" in a dire circumstance in a isekai/reincarnation/2nd life genre is very weak. Should've just went to the revenge route and had MC go into hiding for like a year or so in hardcore training while the antagonist is just chilling and killing everything.

you can bring in the time travel plot device after MC defeated Antagonist, but even that would be a weak plot.

At a certain point a story loses it's meaning and becomes worthless. I think in this story it has to be the second time he travelled back in time to avoid his death. Even if plot armor is a thing, there's just no point to a story about a kid becoming the strongest mage when it's literally impossible for him to fail.
