"It's not like he's gay or anything"
Did he come out and declare that to his family? Is she making an assumption because he's not wearing booty shorts or speaking with a gay lisp or something?
Anyway, it'd be somewhat interesting if he were gay, and seeing what a family member who has modern sensibilities would say to the whole thing.

I want to be her

Valid, but I think the whole idea of the story is that someday this could be you. The protagonist was as unremarkable a person as one could imagine and yet he's living a new and joyous life as a beloved child.

In the meantime, enjoy following Miranda's new life in anticipation for your turn.

Man I'm too used to seeing a reincarnated kid not act like an actual kid for a whole chapter. I like it though. It's hard to write how an adult person would naturally act like a kid when they're reincarnated without falling for the "ultimate child genius" trope or skipping the childhood years entirely.

Thanks for the translation

I do think the author is basically writing an escapist fantasy for themselves... and you know what? If it's something others can enjoy as well, there's few things more worthwhile to be doing while on Earth in my opinion.

Oh yes and thanks for translation! I forgot to say that.

It feels like the author is just living out some weird fantasy rather than telling a story
I do think the author is basically writing an escapist fantasy for themselves
From the series summary:
As he was always a "girl inside" with girlish interests, he accepted his reincarnation surprisingly easily.
Depending on how you read that sentence, it could mean two potential options:

1. The main character likes feminine things but was unable to enjoy them in his old world due to the standards society puts on men, and now as Miranda she can enjoy them thoroughly
2. The main character legit felt trans but was unable to come out due to society, so when he died he was all “oh nooooo I got reborn as a girl I can’t believe it I certainly never wanted this to happen but since it happened, I might as well wear a variety of cute dresses, not that I want to or anything”

Either way, yeah it is somewhat of a fantasy. But we get tons of manga here like “the middle-aged man who was deserted by his old company adventuring party turned out to have extraordinary powers and gains a daughter figure” or “I came to another world where I was a loner virgin, but now that I brought Japanese cuisine to this new world women are begging to suck my dick”. So honestly, why shouldn’t we get a series about a guy who just wants a slow, peaceful life as an aristocratic maiden?

Everyone ignores the fact that it would appear that his mind is being cunnyfied.
It's only like the second (or third) isekai manga where the MC's mind actually changes. (the first one was
Chibikko Kenja, Lv. 1 Kara Isekaide Ganbarimasu! if anyone is wondering)

[...] that someday this could be you. [...]
Blatantly untrue.
Aside from the fact that we aren't japanese (the only übermensch that has the privilege of being reincarnated), you would also either need to work to your death in a black company (which are rare in western countries - though if you don't demand to live in a civilized country I guess you could migrate to america and work for Amazon) or get hit by truck-kun.
And all this is before we even consider the fact that reincarnating into fantasy worlds aren't a real thing and purey fictional.

Number 1 can't be it. I agree this chapter makes it seem like it should be number 1, but the synopsis clearly said he were a '"girl inside"', and not just "some regular person who has regular interest - that are considered gatekeeped to a single gender by the precise culture he's born in". Two completely different statements.
