pfffthahahah, I'm sorry, I can't take this guy's face seriously. I think the premise for his heel turn is more or less okay, but it really needed several chapters to simmer over. Just winding up as the ultimate puppet-master to make one of his students continue eating is... a leap too far, though. I'm just guessing, but maybe the author had a better way of building it all up, but was unable to commit for various reasons.

It was only 2 volumes total so maybe the author rushed through the conflict but i wouldn't have minded some more 'fluffy slice of life' elements like them spending time with each other on weekends and such lol

When this was axed, probably the author had to rush things and that's why this looks anticlimatic. I liked the chapter, though it's a pity we have only 2 more chapters, not 100, before it ends.

Disappointment is a polite way of describing this arc. It was shoehorned in, didn't make sense, and ultimately didn't change a single thing from a plot or character perspective. It leaves a bad taste that even the fluffiest ending won't be able to fix.

Really, the editor should have known this was a terrible idea and nixed it in the bud
