Honestly, I don't like her bitchiness at all. I'm not saying hug and kiss the guy. Love is something that cannot be forced but civility and respect should be granted to those who deserve them.

I was on her side when all we knew of the prince is that he hurt her brother but obviously there is more to it yet she is acting like a ruthless bitch.
For one , she understand that sometimes certain unpleasant actions need to be taken for the good of everyone or for a higher cause. Case in point: she is all for killing a child that is probably innocent and being used to frame her father. Why ? She sees the bigger picture and she seems that a just sacrifice and it's a freaking child.
So she isn't a saint by far and she completely understands the dirty politics.

Yet she can't understand that maybe what happened between the prince and her brother is bigger than what it seems ? Is she that dumb ? If the prince went around killing people, I'm sure he'd decimate half be population but something happened specifically with her brother so shouldn't she think there's more to it ? Also, her own brother hid things related to the incident from her. She asked and he never gave her a straight answer so shouldn't she realise already that if he is hiding something, he can be guilty?

I'm all for being cautious and I don't mind that she didn't immediately trust the prince but she was a bitch every step of the way. Noe she knows he is 100% truthful about protecting her family even if it's for his own reasons. Why does she need to know what's kicking in his head ? Even if he is doing this merely to rise in favorability and rank kr whatever, isn't that the way it's always been done ? Princes often side with strong families and it's no secret at all that both parties gain from this association.

So let's summarize this: she is being a judgemental double standard bitch who thinks others are evil but doesn't bat an eye when she agrees with killing children. At least the prince deals with adults and doesn't target children so she can get off her high horse.
Also, he saved her life multiple times and proved that he is loyal to the family bryong any doubt since the magic can't be broken yet she feels the need to br a garbage person and keep cursing him and childishly stomping on his gift.

Again, I don't wish for her to fall for him (mainly because she doesn't deserve him) she has the freedom to give her heart to whoever but she is treating this prince with less respect than she would a servant. It's unsightly because if he was all threatening she would've been forced to tremble and give him respect but he acts civil with her and she thinks she's all that and start disrespecting him.

Urgh, I can’t take this dumb Lamia anymore. She’s so narrow minded that she can’t seems to see anything else. Why torture such a nice flower, it was even a gift. I guess no matter how Aquila proof himself to be harmless against her, she will never ever believe him.

I know i might sounds a little bit unfair since what happened to her bro wasn't only a thing that can be forgiven so easily. But is it just too much to throw the flower he just gave you? He even used magic to met you in person uhuhu :(

Lol the flower that never died and came back when it was thrown away. Remind me of ghost stories like people throw away that haunted doll but found the doll in their house again. I shall name this chapter: The Haunting of Camellia

For him to turn back time which has taken a toll on his body, for him to hurt the person that lamia hold dear. For him to hold back while living with memories that lamia and him has gone through that no one knows of.

There are many key factors that has not been revealed.

There must be something about all this.

Even though Lamia seems like the best candidate for being the head of the family instead of her bro, but she still is not as cool headed as her father yet.

She's still a bit impulsive and not being able to think more critically frustrates me a bit. Well I hope there will be more character development.

Lmao I'd trash that flower too. That shit is not cute if its from someone you hate and are wary of. The oath is irrelevent to me if he can't even veebally explain why he was trash in the past. I don't buy the puppy dog act unless we get a peoper explanation to his psychopathic half.

@Bramia : *looks at US news*
Yeah, it's like people are not cold logical machines and are influenced by their emotions and personal values/biases.

Seriously though, there's too little information to go on (intentionally so by the author), and this series is definitely not one where 'everyone happy ever after' is a realistic route.
Even Lamia and her father plan to kill a child just to ensure peace in the succession.
Is that child an actual threat, or innocent baby? Doesn't matter, his existence can be a threat, so better nip it early.

Or Lamia pushing for Uri, the person who's obviously too naive and lacking in foresight as a ruler to rule, to be the next Duke all because of she thinks that's the best for him.

Everyone around here hates on either Lamia or Aquila way too much and neither of them deserve it. It’s obvious that Aquila currently is going through his second play through of this entire timeline, since he rewinded time in order to try and save Lamia. It also is pretty evident that whatever he an Uri had was from the previous timeline and has no significance to the current Aquila. As for Lamia, she may be strangely hostile to someone she barely knows but Aquila’s first impressions don’t bode well with Lamia’s prejudice against him after what she’s heard from Uri. Stop shitting on the characters and let them grow, the plot looks really promising.
