teleporting is really a "hero" specialist magic. No-one else (noit even the Demon King it seems) can use it, so when he say "I'm going to teleport" everyone had a brain fart like "what the heck is this guy talking about ?"
So when he teleport, everyone are simply loser.

@Sep10trion Well, i like this approach, where its more about personality. The ones were the demons are just the good guys and the humans just the evil are lame, but its acceptable here. I mean, there are obviously enough people in the demons who want war and to crush the humans, besides the ones who are more pragmatig and there are enough normal humans, even the King isnt inherintly evil as it seems, just an ass and somewhat incompetent. Just more like in reality, no real "evil" side and "good" side (well, besides from the "hero" and the new thingi which seems to be evil 
)
@wankerLin Not really, you cant just kidnap someone and then say: "now its your responsibility", he doesnt belong there, he was kidnapped and so he got to a pleace to live in peace. Just because other people always crave for power that isnt theirs doesnt mean he is obligated to use that power to their advantage, its not his problem that the two sides cant communicate in a civilised manner, its theirs. You can shove it to the "hero", the human kind and the demon king, but surely not on the MC.

@saifors : The king is incredibly corrupt and self centered, largely due to always getting his way, compromising and doing the right thing are not in his nature and make no sense in his head. I mean his answer thm to forgetting to return the hero candidate in time was to end the man to his death far away from everyone.
@Silwith : The king ordered death for existing to cover up his mistakes (he sent the MC to his death purely because they forgot to return him to his world in time). he is 100% evil.

is he 2nd strongest human alive, by a large margin. Also a huge idiot if he thinks that they would have something he could use and have not offered it before, and entitled as he thinks she is just doing what she wants when he has PROVEN twice he is not a hero but a coward (his reaction to the first campaign, and that he holed himself up rather than defending the kingdom when it was being invaded.)

His fun got ripped away from him, this guy isn't stupid by any means, he knows what happened and is pissed that he has to find them, a separate spoiler due to some more future events
some of the demons get annoyed that he is playing around to much and not attacking like he 'should' be doing, so they try to get his spirit back but he decides you know what, screw it, you can have it and bounces and this is where he becomes a resident
more or less stupidly overpowered, and due to the hero's bullshit, will take every soul in the kingdom as payment, this leaves a mark on the neck. however after getting her shit kicked in hard (puddle of gore) she becomes very submissive to the one who did it, and due to the contract being unfulfilled the mark disappears from everyone neck and second spoiler for later on
don't look at this from the eyes of someone stupid, look at him from the eyes of someone who was never told no and is prone to corruption, that should make his actions and those around him make far more sense.
due to some very shitty... is it a separate demon clan or some powerful ones that didn't side with the demon... I forget. they were to be killed, but one is dealt with by former demon lord, and the other is kept inside of the demon hero released, and because she is fascinated with sex, she decides what a perfect opportunity to try it out.
the entire story, from start to finish is one punch man like, very short chapters that get straight to the point. its less gag manga in the beginning because everything is being set up, but realistically, the entire story is gag manga. so nothing should ever really change about the tone of the story at least as far as I read, there will be slice of life bits along with stupid happenstance.
