I guess the summoning worked... but instead of her soul, he sacrificed his own, and now someone from Earth inhabits his body.
This manga seems like another cliché (not that I mind), but the art is detailed, which I love.
That maid though - “What would you pay for a day off?” “My soul?”
I also like the premise: not simply “I want a peaceful life,” but “I just want to keep shipping people.” Sounds like fun.

Because that's a hassle and almost always filled with tragedy (be it for the villain or for the hero).
Why not just call it sharingan?
