I just can't ship them at all. "I am your Soulmate" only made me feel uncomfortable.

I mean, that’s fair but soulmates can also be a platonic terminology. Your “best friend for life” is another way of essentially saying they are your soulmate. Like Finn and Jake from adventure time are essentially soul bonded because they are always together in different lifetimes

Anyone else feel like this is some massive foreshadowing that Iruma is gonna end up getting sent back to earth and the two of them will need to track him down somehow someway?

Not gonna lie, I would like an earth arc.

And that does feel like a good way to bring his secret to a close. It gets revealed, he gets thrown Back to earth and assumes everyone hates him for lying, his parents make another parents (maybe revealing they were never real or something), but then these two somehow break through the border and come find him

AAAA I would love if that happened! It'd be so amazing!!!

This is fuckng stupid. Am i expecting too much from a shounen? I mean, i know their main, main target demographic are 14 year olds so it's supposed to be 90% spectacle and 10% actual content...but...isn't there a better way of writing this??

I love u forever love trio. I too felt that it was a bit weak for Azz to say they would stay together to search for Iruma but at the same time it's completely in character. I cant imagine them giving up on him nor they searching for him on their own separately . The implication of "there's no one else i would rather do this with, who can understand exactly how i feel" is very strong and I take it

I mean, from the moment we heard that Delkira vanished, and that the class is the "13 Misfits" (i.e. a mirror of 13 crowns), it was pretty obvious plot one could choose to have Iruma vanish at one point too. However I think it will happen when
1)Sullivan is occupied or otherwise indisposed
2)During a summer break chapter so the class isn't occupied either (I can see Kalego giving being pissed at the class for not paying attention and giving a motivational speech to them to either trust the demons searching for him or do something about it, but it would be pushing)
3)I'd see it after we're more close to the og 13 crowns (by the way of either Iruma, misfits or the 2 other contestants interacting with them in comic outside the whole "Demon King" stuff, we already have characters like Ameri's dad or Alice's mom for which it would feel natural, but most of them are still strangers as characters go), so the chapters could explore and contrast their reactions to Delkira missing

I can imagine them searching separately, but only if they organized themselves so beforehand (and probably within a bigger group) but that's just me cherrypicking

honestly, i hope not.
while it's true it will be a good read, i feel like most reader will already know the overall flow of the story. just like how you said iruma will feel guilty, and those 2 coming to save him.
sure there will be other detail, but it would be predictable.

If it would focus on Iruma, sure, we already got to know exactly how much he fears separation and being isolated again. If it would focus on reactions to Iruma dissapearance around the Netherworld, that I'd think be way more fun. Especially when it gets to Kirio.
