Well, they are all magic anyway, but for a throw-away line it creates a lot of issues, unless we know the ratio is not that extreme.
This, of course, assumes the males have a human level of sex drive and human reproductive strategies...which, why would they?It would cause pretty cataclysmic violence and chaos. It might also be a Queen-Bee syndrome...so, like weirdly individualist beehive families, but they aren't all Matriarchal or Matrilocal, which is also strange.

minor correction, polygyny would be multiple women with a single man, polyandry would be multiple men with a single woman.

Mangadex was sent some kind of DMCA and had to remove a lot of chapters for various manga among other things. The group scanlating Iruma kun said they were going to stop uploading to mangadex because of the DMCA, but then these chapters got uploaded so I wasn't sure what that indicated

We also have to consider this:
Demons live for a LONG time, so they will continue living and reproducing for hundreds if not thousands of years.
And then we also have that we haven't actually seen Demons fall to disease, that they are probably strong enough to not die during birth...
If we look at it this way, even if the Netherworld is a pretty dangerous place, the average Demon will probably die for a LONG time.
If they reproduced as fast as Humans do, they probably would end dealing with Overpopulation pretty soon.
Having a them focus on Quality over Quantity when it comes to reproduction actually makes a lot of sense to keep a relatively stable number of them.
