I'm sure something going to happen seeing that panel with the upper deity princess shura. Can't be arsed with this fucker baal and his goons. I prefer to see the wrath of this so called princess upon these insolent demons. Would be pointless if all this only leading to hapi hapi hapi no one dies like usual.
The author should grow some balls and let characters die to further escalates iruma wishy-washy attitude. We already got friendship whatnot, lovers romance whatnot, family bond whatnot, blablabla at this point if no death is happening then i dont know what will. Iruma would just be another boring protag like the others. Fucking step up and grow some balls.
Don't get me wrong, but death itself will mean the character WILL NOT GET ANOTHER DEVELOPMENT. Sullivan for example, still has many questions regardless his relationship with Delkira, Iruma and others. Killing him is the cheapest and worst way to develop Iruma because Sullivan still has potential as character. I say this because I've seen many characters die for the sake of death and it caused backlash instead. Remember that for a death to be meaningful, it has to be fulfilling as well. Look man, I play Genshin and the amount of people baffled Signora died in Inazuma when she's irrelevant as hell in the arc is very high. She died for the sake of shock factor. Now look at Himeko who had full fledge background explained and fulfilling death because she saved her beloved student and pushed further Kiana's development. One is bad, the other is good. You can't kill character without solid reason.
You know what's really fun tho? Putting Sullivan in coma for a moment, causing the vice principal to come out because seriously, who's the vice principal of the school again?? Or a chaos where they must appoint one person to be acting principal. Iruma might start to wonder the reason Sullivan choose him too the moment he's absent. Making him having existential crisis is better than making him grieving or angry over someone's death.
