@Sareg Let's just ignore the fact that if you compare the two versions of chapter 54 you should understand easily just how bad WH's translation is. Let's just ignore that, and focus on the fact that this series is 70+ chapters behind the raws because WH doesn't actually put out content. Actually, let's not ignore that--they are 70 chapters behind, and they still put out this garbage every time. Every single time! Then someone tries to actually put out decent translations, and WH comes along, and puts out 3 chapters in a week when their normal rate is 1 a month. This situation should make it obvious that WH can easily put out content at their horrible quality at a rate greater than 1 a month, but they don't. Because they don't have to. Because people like you make excuses for them.

tl;dr: WH isn't just bad; they're bad and slow. But they're not just bad and slow; they're bad and slow ON PURPOSE.

Damn, with the anime coming out and putting a spotlight on the series, there seems to be a pretty massive scanlation battle going on. And if I were to be perfectly honest, I do hope Wicked House loses it.

While I've only merely heard about how bad the translations were (I've only read the Deus Vult translations so far) I really dislike how the scanlation group has been treating the series - normally, I don't mind a scanlation group sitting on a manga, since they've got other series that they might be busy translating and there's no money to get out of the work. However, I don't like how Wicked House is super possessive of the series, apparently, but barely releases any chapters of it. The only time chapters are released any faster than a monthly frequency is when they're being sniped. It's... kind of scummy.

Again, I feel like normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but apparently their translations aren't the best. And, if I've learned anything from following 5toubun, that alone is enough for /a/ to take action. On that note, it is a bit of a selfish request, but I am hoping someone goes back and translates everything from where Deus Vult left off. This is a really fun manga, and I'd love to see where this goes. I just want to be able to understand it.

I'm not 100% sure about this but Wicked House might be translating from Japanese to Vietnamese, then to English. I remember seeing the occasional Vietnamese words here and there, especially during the early chapters. Kissmanga ripped their Vietnamese chapter at one point thinking it was the English version lol. That was back in 2018 so again I'm not sure if they were still doing it or using machine translation now.

Anyways I'm not fussy about it lol. With the anime currently airing, I can see groups jumping in to work on the series. I can understand about 60-70% of the RAW anyways so just reading whatever English translation to further understand it.
