Man, in terms of idiotic party leaders who throw out their best asset, this guy proves to be one of the dumbest. "Should we take a route known to get all of us out alive? Nah, let's use our most useful party member as bait so I get out alive."
Not just that, let's waste a magic tool we could use to snag a couple of the pursuing monsters, just to make sure the luggage carrier with the map out of the forest doesn't make it back.

Yeah ... thinking was OBVIOUSLY NOT Luke's strong point. Probably only made it THIS far due to a strong support guy. I wonder why we have to relive THIS particular trope so much recently. Ah, I know. Because most authors/mangaka are bereft of original ideas and crib notes from every other story that is semi-popular.

Trope aside, at least we're following from the point of view of someone who will save the world indirectly many times over. Now if he would just grow some elf balls we could get the REAL story started. Sorry, gutter brain was talking for that last part, LOL.

Years later, Jin Fritz changed his name into Gin Freaks, gave up becoming a hero and became a professional hunter instead, got a random girl pregnant and let his son be taken care of at his acquaintance place before going back on a journey, gaslighting that very son to also become a hunter like him. His son's name is Gon Freaks.

You aren't wrong. But also, schlocky isekai has a bit of a tendency to critique, or at least vent about, Japanese work culture, and this trope is a very clear parallel to shitty bosses that throw their employees under the bus for their own incompetence. Which are far too common, and extremely relatable.

With all of these stupid cliche trope party member abandoned 'useless' MC for bait, i wonder why nobody wanna make story about guild investigator/punisher investigates party who abandoned one of their member and punish them accordingly, preferably dead punishment.

Wait, so he's gonna be a hero after just excessive physical training?

Is he gonna lose all his hair next chapter? Get a sidekick named Genos? Defeat everyone with just ONE punch?

Some manga do have some of those aspects you mentioned, but there's only so much you can do before it gets super repetitive.

Like the RDM manga they did investigate the original party, demoted them and then punished the heck out of them for repeated offenses.

The auto-skill one, I think they did also investigate his old party but because party leader was the son of a noble things got swept away until the second offense.

I think they found about the wrongdoings of the party from the SSS WHM with a knife manga and they got punished, but not that it matters after what happened to the party.

If they hadn't wasted all that time arguing, they wouldn't have even needed a distraction
Seems like they didn't need a distraction anyway, guy just wanted to get rid of Brave.
I assume nothing gonna happen to the old party? Since that's the MO of shit like this.
Normally in abandonment manga the ex-party does get their just deserts... eventually. Just hope that in this story MC actually reports them instead of having the Brave work up the courage to confront them.

Fuck Carol 😶

Also, considering the manga doesn't have a romance tag, i assume Minori ends maybe up with the hero ?..
Personally I would kinda hate that. Because what it does is destroy the hole reason Minori is what she is today is because she loved this hero who saved her that day, and wants to be there for them in good and bad times. Having her randomly fall in love with the hero without it being something out weighing years of mystery love search and gratefulness would make me despise the idea.
