The word "hero" in Japanese is literally translated as "Brave Man." But like in English, take the word "peacock." It's a bird, even if it's made up of two other words. In the same sense, "Braveman" is a single word meaning "Hero" in Japanese.
Thus the "brave factor." Without the brave, you just have a man, not a hero.
