Props to the guy who called it out a little while ago, but why the fuck didn't they explain this to him from the start?
I like how Ameilia is the one to come up with this plan. She's very clearly sympathetic to MC and I think she still has feelings for him. She's my favorite character right now because I like that complexity.

well setting it to future earth isn't the worst idea i guess, still better then some other world buuut is it still a isekai if its earth xD?

Well this dosent change that much....sure Humans are the native Species but this doesnt mean it was an Agrassive Invasion from the Inhumans side. Technicly it doesent have to be Future Earth but just a parralel word where Inhumans just existed from the beginning. I just dont trust this totally racist and bloodlusting lieing guy.

The furries cant even leave the damn planet if they wanted to do something like colonize Mars instead. An Earth revelation doesn't really change anything other than stuff that makes the humans look bad. Geneva convention? Dumped out the window. Not a thing to brag about.

Saying that it puts humanity in the role of self defense is like saying that the USA today should go and wipe out Canada because of what happened in the war of 1812.
• Humans and Inhumans were living together peacefully before Diedhauser manipulated everyone into a war.
• They've developed magitech that can literally reverse time, and yet he wants to claim that genocide is the only solution to the problem?
• Humans and inhumans are able to have viable offspring together, which means technically they're the same species.

As others said, not too shocking that the truth is "this is planet Earth". So now my speculation is that there are at least three "out of time" humans.
First, Shiromine ofc. He hails from our present time the 20xx time period.
Next is Deitriech himself. I suspect that his deep hatred of inhumans is because he is from the time period of the invasion. To him, it is inconceivable that humans could get along with the "monsters" that caused the collapse of human civilization.
That brings us to the newest antagonist, Seed Eight. I am guessing he is a person from just before the invasion, when humanity was at its peak. That is how he can invent so much technology, to him it is just recreating common tech from his own time. It also explains his mad scientist fascination with the inhumans, they are beings new to him after he arrived in the future.
Now the last puzzle piece: the "holy sword". Anyone want to predict that it was the Ultimate Weapon made by humans during the invasion time to oppose the inhumans? It's just high technology that was cutting edge (literally, lol) just before humanity lost that war. Among its requirements to use it is likely "pure human DNA". So no human in the present time can use it as inhuman DNA got intermixed over centuries. Only someone from long before the war could be compatible.

called it some chapters ago and apparently almost everyone forgot about the bad moon outta in the sky; it can be a IRL case when exist demons in both sides but they refuse to acknowledge the ones in the own (or most likely in this case, they exist in different times)

Seed Eight and Dietrich apparently came at the same time (a previous chapter mentioned they both appeared 40 years ago) so it is possible they came from the same time period. A lot of people are also forgetting the foreshadowing regarding how humanity is doomed if the inhumans persist and the second moon that is apparently malevolent. Maybe there are other humans out there but they wanted to quarantine Earth to prevent the spread so they built the second moon. It stops any attempt to go off-planet to keep the quarantine in place. Humanity is doomed if they persist either because resource exhaustion (have we seen anything that isn't wasteland) or some kind of backup feature of the moon that will purge the planet.
