When I started reading this I was like, "This is kinda ass, but not as ass as Juujika no Rokunin, they are different enough"... Now it seems this author is going for the "lets give an explanation of the main villian and how their past is related to the main victim", but just like Juujika it just shows you how they were born evil and their relationship with the victim changes basically nothing.

So yeah, it's slowly becoming as ass as juujika

Okay, so I guess nobody's going to realize how the whole point of this flashback is that Okaya is a sociopath born out of privileged parents who'd rather enable his damage than face the humiliation of seeing a therapist, to the point he cannot comprehend anyone NOT having any kind of ulterior motive. Not to mention the visual twist where he spent his whole life looking down on people like they're cockroaches, only for Kiritaka's uncompromising altruism to shatter his entire worldview and make him realize, somewhere deep down, he was the lowest vermin of them all.

But no, just a bunch of "lol gay" comments because a lot of people who read this have one braincell among them and they don't like to share.
