The fact that they gives off the ringleader parents info right of the bat means that the author plans to make the ringleader have some sort of rough/f up childhood to make it seems that whatever shit he pulled is justifiable for some bs sympathy. And with how he react when the his mother is mentioned means that he have probably a mommy issues.

I can already see that MC will pretty much goes 'work as usual' when dealing revenge to the scrub and will probably break down when dealing with ringleader with him being some sort of psychiatrist wannabe and shit.
