It's over at least. This sucked, like how is it that every time this manga tries to introduce conflict, it's always in the most half-assed and stupid way imaginable?And it's solved in an equally stupid and half-assed way. It's kind of amazing honestly. The chapter started off so nice and chill and then it just jumped off a cliff. Why couldn't he just want to be friends, you know like normal people do? They could still have Meguro talking about moving on from her first love and it would still work just as well. It also means Aya was justified in her paranoia, which kind of goes against what the author was trying to do. So the whole plot ended up being a waste.

@briantheginger i dont know in what kind of cotton-candy world you live in, but a boyfriend ( or girlfriend) cheating on their partner with some one( maybe even the ex partner) is also "normal" ( normal meaning common). and to the second part, maybe the author did not care whether or not the paranoia of her was justified but rather appropriate. in this case her prior behavior was not appropriate at all because she was angry at meguro for her boyfriends "unfaithfulness" and in this case it was resolved quite nicely with her accepting that he does not feel the same as her and cut her ties with him.

@BriantheGinger "which kinda goes against what the author was trying to do" i dunnow if you got stones instead of eyes but this was coming from miles away this whole chabang was for the sole purpose to show that the FMC kinda can say "no" now, nothing more nothing less, there wasn't any conflict in the first place, also when people doubt something it's usually is true, it doesn't have to be a "misunderstanding" on their part for doubting their partner, like that's life man shit happens and tbh wtf, it's not like this was a whole anime season with like a hiatus period and super plot developments, it was basically a quick introduction to a new character with some personal developments for the girl, that's it

Because he is a creepy dirtbag. He used Meguro until he got tired of her. He lies to his current girlfriend. He has a rendevouz with his ex-girlfriend without telling his current girlfriend, and ignores his current girlfriend's text messages. He's scum.

Meguro should have just refused to meet the dirtbag. That would have been the best choice and the one in which the only person who deserves to be hurt would get hurt (the dirtbag himself). Unfortunately, Meguro isn't the sharpest knife in the kitchen.
