Anyone in this world can get them too via expensive implants, though only nobles can afford them (excluding language implant). Hiro is strange since he has no implants (it's borderline supernatural), so got lampshaded as him having special DNA, though they're basically his game character cheats.

- 'Bullet time'; the FPS mechanic where it seems like time slows (accelerated thoughts), he needs to hold his breath to use it.
- 6th sense; Like predicting what an opponent will do next (Kind of lampshades his plot armor). In universe version would probably be implant that shows AR images of predicted paths of motion.
