Not the “She’s too good for me excuse” 😭

I get maybe he’s got emotional baggage, but why Hayoon and not someone like senpai or any other girls?

This is such a stupid way of cucking Hayoon and prolonging the “romantic” tension between them, before just having her ultimately lose to Mia again.

pink/orange hair, childhood friend, younger, former "student" who was being tutored by him, tomboyish, overtly strong, overprotective older brothers, etc. it's all the losing flags you could come up with in a harem. also by her own admission, she didn't like taesoo that way until he was with mia in middle/high school... from Chapter 10/11:

and from taesoo's perspective, he is still not over mia, they were together for five years in the past, and the relationship was abruptly and inconclusively terminated with no-contact...

Yeah but my point is it’s a shitty reason to keep the drama between them going.

Not that it wasn’t obvious hayoon was going to lose but that this is a terrible excuse for him to not even give her a chance.

Like this guy glazed the crap out of senpai, IS trying to get with senpai, and yet feels hayoon is too good for him so shes off the table?

And another thing hes been over mia romantically or atleast he feels he is currently for a while. Yes he is still curious about why she left him and she is obv the winning heroine but…

He actively has another crush he’s pursuing…and quite openly too even after meeting mia again. I thinnk thats enough to tell hes over her romantically.

so the promise he makes to Hayoon is bad writing and makes MC uncharacteristically scummy for playing with her emotions because he absolutely has no intention of accepting her feelings…EVER.

Hayoon might have her flaws (like any person), but overall, she's just a sweet and adorable girl.

He should just clearly either reject or accept her, but keeping everything in suspense is just not nice at all and will only end up hurting her (and probably him) even more than rejecting her now.

Okay so she is mia because we saw the scar on the last panel it's below her chest on the left maybe she blocked out someone of her memories about her family due to trauma? Like how she forgot specific parts like her mom's recipie idk why she changed so much though no explanation for that maybe she just wanted to not look recognisable by people she used to know?

Who really cares if it's the same mia at this point hayoon better. Really dislike how authors think history and drama is what makes a good relationship "too good for me" give me a break.

The narrative has just been dribbling Hayoon up and down the court all series long...
Happiness for my girl, please!
