my guess is that she is likely in an arranged marriage with someone else and she doesn't want it

damn boy is TRAUMATIZED by Mia's disappearance, almost had an anxiety attack there when she was missing for a second...

the one scene with him listening in on her on the phone and him holding the rose probably suggests he's aware she's betrothed or something along those lines... which is interesting, and probably explains why he still hasn't confessed to her despite the fact that for a period of time he even lived in her place...

It's an interesting harem story though, his shared history of ~5 years with Mia is paralleled with the shared history with Heesu which is almost as long, and then there's Nayoon and her 10 year history with him.

Crazy how taesoo and sunbae have absolute zero chemistry, the author just put some love interest to drag the story huh
