The cover page was a bit difficult for me to translate, so I wanted to explain my choices and also who is who.
I think Seto is the heretic.
The way we’ve seen other psychics are, they see ghosts and works in way that human are vulnerable to ghosts. They depend on methods, such as wisdom, rituals, amulets, and compromise.
Seto is different. He can’t see them, and his method are brute.

寵児 could refer to Rom, on how he is treasured by Mitsue and his late teacher. And he is the most “child” among them, both Mitsue and Seto treats him as still a kid.

職者 can refer to monk. Also, Japan’s use of 職 as in 職人 can tend to give nuance of “craft” (such as artist, like painters, sculptors, swordsmiths, teacher), where the expertise is held with pride as an art and life work.
I think it fits Mitsue more.

Ok, there’s a lot of bad shit going down but we cannot forget that this rabbit is draining the life force. Sure she had too much and it attracted ghosts, but this is not something to be ignored.
Wait for it to be a nuke when the time comes

I don't think "getting violated by Pii-chan" is much better than "getting violated by The Tentacles".

No, but having a Pii-chan fetish sounds a lot less disturbing than having a tentacle fetish.

I can't believe it we just learned Pii-chan's name! He was no longer a red shirt! Don't kill my boy like that!
I'm hoping Hana's aura can save him.

At this point Miko should have been more alert than this, at least point Hana to Michiru and ask her if she sees Hana before running toward her...
