Man... the lead is so dense about Aizawa being in love with her... guess it makes sense tho, she's had nothing but bad experiences with ghosts, doesn't want to get emotionally invested with a dead person, doesn't want to overstep her bounds as a fan, and may even be repressing some memories.

Just a theory, but I have a feeling that Honami died long ago...I mean by the looks of how much past flashbacks appear, its almost as if the Michi from these flashbacks were her but slightly younger, and these past visions seem to indicate negative connotations, which perhaps shows that many incidents happened long before the foreseen present, it also perchance explains the amount of blank insight that she has of these old bank of reminiscences.

i thought the horror parts would just be some side dish for the story, but it became kinda intense instead, the plot is thickening and i love it

So I don't know quite how all the pieces fit together... but I think what is clear is that Michi at one point was really close to Honami, which explains Honami's fixation on her, somehow through either trauma repression or some kind of Supernatural Shennanigans, Michi doesn't remember that, given the childlike manifestation of Michi, the idol candidate from a flashback in the latest chapter with dark hair and a similar name who entered auditions alongside Honami, and how supernatural phenomena swirl around the pair, there's a lot of possibilities but little certainty.
