Y’know going on the offensive can work in some cases, but not if you keep bashing your head into the wall. I think what she doesn’t get is it’s entirely her personality which is pushing him away, it has nothing to do with attraction, and everything to do with the demand for attention and adoration.

It also probably doesn’t help that she treats him like he’s lesser than her, and as such she is somehow entitled to all of his attention when she demands it. I can’t tell if she genuinely cares about him, or if it’s entirely a bruised ego trying and failing to regain the perceived position at the top she so obviously desires.
