"Tell me you don't know a thing about demography without telling me you don't know a thing about demography"I suppose that mindset is why Japan's birthrate is so low, and probably why it's low elsewhere in the world, too. If young people come to believe they don't need marriage and children to be happy, they won't figure out they're unhappy until they're too old to conceive. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what comes next.
JapanWhat that manager was trying to do should be illegal, especially towards other adults, right? Or at least breaking a few rules. There's no way people still do that in this day and age.
You can have both, but to excel in one means the other will suffer. One of them will have to be your priority.Work can be fulfilling, but spending your best years as a corporate slave isn't the road to happiness. People also don't seem to realize that you don't have to choose between family and a career, you can have both. You're essentially being presented with a false choise.
Keep in mind the cost of rearing a child and how the younger generations are getting paid less than the one before and you have a recipe for disaster.I suppose that mindset is why Japan's birthrate is so low, and probably why it's low elsewhere in the world, too. If young people come to believe they don't need marriage and children to be happy, they won't figure out they're unhappy until they're too old to conceive. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what comes next.
Not to mention, depending on where you are, women have super high standards that the majority of men can't meet, and the few men who do meet those standards don't need to be tied down to a woman when they could practically buy/rent them for a night. There's also the divorce rates with women taking more than half of the belongings, including child custody and the support that goes with it, and today's men don't want to take those chances-myself included.the birthrate is low because people don't have the time or money to raise children. being happy without having children or being married is a very good thing, companies overworking and underpaying their employees to a point where they can't raise children or have time to do what they want is the bad thing, and the actual source of unhappiness
Not hard to believe. My dad's 53, and if he's anything like he was when I saw him last year, his hair's still dark and covering most of his scalp to this day.54 and no grey hair?
Dunno bout that author-san. Maybe its that Japanese genetics though.
Regardless, enjoying this series. Hope we get a quality ending for this one. Axe-kun stay away.
