Manga Bike anatomy score: Excellent! As expected of an artist who takes the time to draw all the background details, these bike drawings don't take any shortcuts. We see here a clear example of an older city/utility bike, probably dated from the 70's. Bolt on wheels, 7/8" quill stem, chain guard, rear coaster brake, a Wald-style front basket, and the foot rests behind the rear drop outs. An especially nice detail is the halogen front light mounted under the basket, powered by a rim dyno. I'm guessing they pulled their old family bike out of storage and traced reference photos because this is very detailed!

Don't mangaka sometimes use 3D models and trace over them for certain things? That bike looks awfully like a 3D model to me (but I could be mistaken about the process)

I mean, hey, I appreciate the work you put in, and I’m extremely thankful for the higher quality of the translation, but I still personally think that the vast majority of people who were whining so hard about the last guy putting his own translators notes in the free manga he was translating for them were being entitled brats. Like, seriously, I found the notes pretty annoying too, but the guy picked up the series when no one else would and proceeded to do free labour for us, and we still gave him shit for it.

So yeah, props to you for being the one person to actually put your money where your mouth is and do what everyone else wouldn’t. Far as I’m concerned, you’re the only one with any right to complain about the last few chapters.

Just because you provide something for free does not excuse you from criticism for childish behavior. It's possible to be critical of the way something is given to you separate from its contents.

The previous TL's notes were debatable in the beginning, but some of it later devolved into immature quips that were simply retaliatory rather than substantive. In my opinion, littering pages with pointless phrases like "your mom" deserves a call-out. There's no need to deface the original author's work like that.

It's not even traced, you can just bang on import them into a page and have it auto-line and shade these days
