If i remember correctly when he appraised him, he was level 500, the mc is level 3300 so....

Their plan probably got wasted because he one-shot the demon,
and the shitty classmates got even more scared of Yuuri because of it and somehow thought of him more as becoming the demon lord.

There might be one way.
If the appraisal of level 500 from before was only for the human form of the demon and changing to his true demon form removed a level limiter that was used alongside the transformation.
Remember all those bosses in games or evil guys in mangas and anime who transform after being defeated in the first form and then suddenly are stronger in the 2nd form?
That could also be the case here.

Just as I was thinking it was a completely braindead and immature maneuver to try and fight these demons at the capital immediately after obtaining the limit break the story goes and confirms it was indeed a braindead and immature decision. Why did they think this would work so easily when they barely have any real battle experience. Like it wasn’t that long ago they all got their asses handed to them by a guy who was significantly lower level than them just because he was more experienced and had a somewhat tricky skill.
