Not in this title. This story is one where the author specifically wrote the MC to have a clock (time) related special skill, but in practice his actual powers have very little to do with time, making it all nothing but wasted potential. So, no, the author's skill and imagination aren't sufficient for anything new at all. At least the manga artist is good enough, even if the original story leaves a whole lot to be desired.
