Same, I have the raws for this chapter, and I think you're right.I have a feeling that the pages are... Out of order, maybe? I dunno...![]()
yeah, it also felt oddly aligned to me.Same, I have the raws for this chapter, and I think you're right.
This is where I just sort of disagree with everyone here. I seriously doubt that any of you would play detective and find out the truth if your friend was arrested and had fake evidence presented against him - and if you trusted the system (the church and the law officials), it'd be that much harder to believe in your friend.but the weird thing is that those girls in an too easy way distrust the MC never check the facts
"You're an accomplice"
Of what? Sure she was a bitch to the MC for not believing him at all, but she's done nothing illegal and there's zero reason she couldn't just go public with this other than the author not wanting to redeem her.
And again,it's obvious that was a snarky remark. That would be up to any individual themself to decide. Regardless you don't post informations about future story content without using spoiler tags. In this case it's even worse, since he took something that was in proper tags and reposted it without them. That's seriously bad manners.
Considering what we know about those two psychos, unless they waited for whatever reason,it would've already happened long before Cyclo returns.I meant in the known chapters, I saw a spoiler that at least one of them got raped
I'm actually surprised she didn't just nuke the whole church/hero, sacrificing your whole life to the church only to get fucked over by them/hero, I would've crashed the fuck outWell, thanks to the church and her father they were barely friends at that point. She was forced to annul their engagement and have zero face to face contact. The only contact was the letters and money which she now knows weren't being delivered. I guess she was probably already frustrated as from her perspective she was constantly sending money and letters with no response. Though its unlikely the church would've allowed Cyclo to contact her even if they'd done their actual job. To be honest the more normal behavior would've been to get angry. She sacrificed her friendships, fiance, and whole life to this stupid church that still had the gall to take her money too.
As for the hero i can't remember how long they've been working together but its been for a bit iirc? And he is trusted and adored by everyone, has the support of the rulers of the kingdom, and it the heir to a duchy. The saint is also incredibly naive thanks to her upbringing. Being raised by the church to think the church is infallible and good does not make one a good judge of character. Helps the hero though as she is easily guilted into complete inaction.
LolFor those wondering about the hero's fate and the saint's fate in the current LN:
The hero is banished to the war front. But he's so incompetent that eventually he's replaced by a lookalike. The real hero is stripped of his noble privileges, he's damaged beyond recognition, and lastly he's relegated to being a criminal slave that's used as cannon fodder on the battlefield.
It's implied that his noble family and the skill giving church are both in agreement towards what they did to him. Due to a freak accident on the battlefield, his slave collar is destroyed and he's last seen running off into enemy territory. He's presumed dead but it's never outright stated.
The saint is banished to a remote church with a high level of danger. She's barely mentioned again after that point except for an exchange between Cyclo and the saint's father when his business contacts him after Cyclo's return to the capital. Her father asks Cyclo for some favor in regards to the saint but he refuses. Her father seems to blame Cyclo for what happened to the saint. It remains to be seen what the author intends to do with the saint but I believe she will remain relatively unimportant for the remainder of the story.
