Onto the story, if the subordinate got caught with fraud, won't that lead into some kind of investigation? Why would the Saint fear of being an accomplice if the only thing she did was scorn her ex-fiance? Unless the Hero pulls on some strings and blame the embezzlement on her, she shouldn't fear anything.

Then again, this series runs on a lot of tropes and I shouldn't put my hopes up that people will have a lot of braincells.

the mother figure (not mother, but aunt lady who took care of him) that became a sex slave yea. i mean, we saw it happen already in the story when the police dude was talking to her. I personally don't remember the saint getting any sex slave treatment on the other hand, in the webnovel tho. She did have sex with hero already i believe, so that's not rape. Honestly she has the worst mindset cause she suddenly goes "my punishment is just going through the motions and just following the hero to his demise", but not like, trying to stop the hero from being worse anyway

So he had two people sending him money... and both people were having those funds stolen?... kinda dumb for it to coincidentally happen twice, at the same time, thus putting him in this situation.

I kind of feel bad for the saint, because she obviously liked him enough to overlook what was thought as a dud gift, and was even willing to be his sugar mummy - and is instead tricked into doubting him. You can argue that she should have just BELIEVED even harder for him, or whatever, but still seems like she's an unfortunate character.
Both her and the older lady don't seem like they really did anything other than get deceived, and not believe in MC hard enough - which I don't think really makes them deserving of their ultimate fates, from what I'm reading

Meanwhile the sister who actually contributed to his bad reputation by spreading poor rumours about him is just accepted a bit later.
