You know exactly what happened. Tsundere being a tsundere trashing her brother outwardly but stupidly thinks she's praising him. Something like "my brother is so worthless I have no choice but to look after him (heart eyes) oh well it can't be helped, I'll just look after him for the rest of his life."

There's two ways to go about it though

1) You come away from this so unable to trust anyone you won't even hear them out
2) You do hear them out because you treat them the way you wish you had been treated when you were accused of wrongdoing.

It seems like the mc is going for the first option here, which seems more like a narrative contrivance than anything else, since the drama between him and his sister could be resolved easily if they had just a single honest conversation.

Personally, I would have preferred if he'd went with #2 even if it wouldn't lead to reconciliation, just because it would make the mc more sympathetic.

chapter 2.1 and chapter 2.2 the whole abuse and attempted murder on him partially happened because of his sister completely ruining his reputation.
well, aside from being convicted as a rapist, she already set the stage that cyclo was someone to get rid of.
screw the tsundere tag, take the words she said as honest for a moment here and its clear as day that she appears as someone who wants him killed or literally doesnt care about his suffering.
in chapter 7 the guildmaster admits that he broke the law ignoring his responsibility for the criminal slaves, based on cyclos bad reputation.
if more of the light novel gets poured into the next chapters, it might become clear that the sisters downright judging comments were taken seriously by everyone around her, causing persecution and misconduct into cyclos direction.
she basically said that he deserved nothing good happening to him, and the guild took her word for it.

I think the most telling part of the damage she did, and will start to realize, is that she said that he was accused of a crime he didn't commit, yet still saw him as a useless and hopeless older brother. These two things combined single handily will show her the utter hell he probably went through after he was enslaved, as no one believed or trusted him until he cleared his name and outed those that kicked him down the hole, that was made so much worse because of her reputation as a legend and the impact her words have on other's opinion of their, at bare minimum, nobody brother, and at worse, falsely accused SA perpetrator sibling.

Nah this comment section is wack. I feel bad for her, MC is being a douche. I don't blame him for acting this way. It's perfectly understandable, but he should do/be better and not be like the people who messed up his life in the first place.
