@boag eum...no? there is no interaction in this manga, it's either exposition by the side characters or the main just rolling over everyone since he always knows best, there is no discussion, deliberation or struggles and that is what cause growth, telling people they can settle on a island ensuring it will be fine without even hearing how many they are or what they eat is moronic, discussing prices with the merchant would have been great if it would have actually gone back and forth, but instantly he became offended instead for complaining about something and giving a counter offer.
and the ship captain was totally okey with someone he never heard about patch up his ship with magic he have no idea when it will fail and the ship will sink, it just screams half-assed, if the ship barriers are so efficient how come there are not more barrier ships around?, is it to expensive to make for normal people?, can normal mages not make barriers?
This reminds me more of a worse deathmarch then NN, just that instead of starting at the beginning you start in the middle of the story cutting away what makes the story flow, it feels super disjointed due to having no direction, no character motivation, no flow since stuff just randomly happens and nothing to compare to, and by having none of those elements the story is pretty bad.
NN handle people more like statistics then people most of the time, and the short format don't help. but it at least flow from one point to another rather then trying to be interesting in every way possible at the same time.
