Honestly, I'm already tired of this kind of drama with manhwas... can't believe it's happening in a manga too.

Seriously, if you truly want to take over the series at the very least do it consistently and post every chapter chronologically from the first chapter you posted. Jumping chapter just to the chapters Kirei Cake hasn't posted just shows that you're a hypocrite who just wanted to start a drama. Not to even mention that you would actually posted a half chapter just to 'stay ahead'...

Also the light novel of this manga is already chapters ahead, If you're not hypocrite b*stards can't you at the very least being consistent to their naming?

Kirei cake was pumped to show that the series hasn't been drop yet, maybe is not every time the raw chapter come out the translation update also come out, but it still being updated once a month, it already a proof the translation still continue.

No, as ShibaPalace points out, this isn't the first time it's happened, and for me, it's happened with Kireicake for several times now.
Of course, they translate and upload for free so I'm not complaining about the quality, or their work (it's often very well done), but I will note my observation that this trend seems to be monopolistic around series and more anti-other-groups than about giving a good translation and having happy readers or taking pride in their work.

Please don't spread misinformation, The KC translator (zStella) has already explained the reason for the update speed. FYI, KC only has a single translator working on two dozen series, and is simply in dire need of editors. So do consider helping out if you're able. And they've been trying their best with consistent releases for each series despite the shortage of editing staffs.


Personally I'm all for healthy competitions and alternate translations, but not troll TL and MTLs, and ones that doesn't even bother having consistent character names between chapters, and simply skips to the latest untranslated chapters.

This is reasonable, and understandable, but from an external viewpoint where the inner-unknowns of differing uploaders is unknown, and only the times of the chapter are something to go off, I do not think the viewpoint I expressed was unreasonable. I accept that I should have better described my views, that I'm not specifically laying any heavy accusations, just airing them (as far as I can see as a stoopid reader who just reads what's available anyway).
Now that I think about it more, Kireicake has been sniped in the past by some god-awful translations in the past (as far as my memory holds, which is most likely not very accurate) so I think that is to their credit too. So maybe since I haven't read a KireiCake upload in a while I conflated this scenario with the current one, but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ugh man, it's crazy how unreadable a poor translation does to the work, I know one manga I read I hated the plot and dialogue until I read the better one and was actually impressed how decent it was.

I do not wish to spread rumours, but I do want to note as an external viewer what it looks like on first glance. This will not be accurate and has its many flaws, but what else do I have to go off apart from a they-say vs they-say argument?

Anyway, I hope I'm not too critical, and in the end you can completely dismiss what I say as a stupid reader since I'm not contributing anything meaningful to the site or scene anyway (Unless you want dumb comments lol)
