I completely agree about the censorship but it's better than white laser beams covering half the page. At least we can still make out Shizuna's hot body.

Censorship there is nothing compared to the shit I've seen in anime. Ecchi anime is notorious for censoring ludicrous amounts of shit and there is even the one old shitty anime called Pupa that practically censored literally almost everything in black fog.

While not ecchi, you just reminded me of Terra Formars back in the day, where I was really interested in the anime, but dropped it less than 5 minutes into the first episode because the way they censored the gore was to literally slap a black box over 3/4s of the screen.

Though, I think they did the same to later seasons of To Love-Ru Darkness, as well, but I can't confirm; by that time, I'd just given up watching ecchi anime altogether because of how bad the censorship was getting.
