Not gonna lie a part of me feels bad for Remille, unlike the other who wanted the war she's pretty much just a womanchild who clearly doesn't know shit and only was in power because she was a noble, but I guess it's realistic that she got the short end of the stick while the emperor gets to have a comfy life even if he's powerless

Also, Elto is way hotter then Remille :meguusmug:
I mean, sure, but it was her actions who triggered the war, right? I would have to re-read to confirm it, but I think she was the one who ordered the killing and shooting of the japanese tourists in that other country. The Emperor tried to protect her afterwards, but he didn't had a direct involvement in the start of the conflict, did he?

Killed special envoys from a nation not yet on any maps? Is narrator referring to japanese envoys? Because no, I am fairly certain there was no japanese envoys killed anywhere. Sure it has been a slow series so I could have forgotten, but I am almost entirely certain the princess's civilian victims were the only japanese casualties so far?

Also still wondering when we are going to see the result of those atlantis guys I remember rising up from the sea to attack everyone way back when. Because they have not had the camera in a long while now, and were supposedly higher tech than Mu. And should by now have taken quite some territories.

Thanks for the translation!
Knowing how advanced JP's tech, I wasn't expecting any resistance for future enemies.
But I'm looking forward to the surprise for the next arc
What happened to Japan during the Great Naval Invasion was a close call tbh

A few things for me to say;
1. Man, THANK YOU for the translation and thank GOD for a new chapter. It's been nearly six months since chapter 50.
2. Idc if her boobs are huge, she's a woman-child, and/or she's oblivious, she did the things she did ANYWAY. For that, a light death sentence is appropriate.
3. Knowing that Gra Valkas Empire is a WW2 Era Empire with WW2 Weapons and Tech, won't they combat against the JSDF with tactics to Overwhelm? Since WW2 are pretty much just numbers war, with a few advanced weapons (for the time) here and there.

Reading comprehension. Emerging Nation from the Western Seas, west of Mu in the 2nd civ area. They're the new enemy for the next arc. Japan is East of the 3rd Civ Area.

As for Atlantis, you're not only forgetting things, you're just making up stuff.
There's no Atlantis in this world. Atlantis together with Mu were those ancient civilizations from Myths from Earth. The Japanese diplomats that went to Mu saw a globe map of Earth in the Mu museum and what Mu called Atlantis in the Equator back on Earth would be the Frozen Antarctica in present day Earth. Only Mu and Japan from Earth are in this world. You're mistaking or making up stuff.

There's no Atlantis rising from the seas, either you're mistaking them for the Sorcerous Empire that used their magic to transport themselves through time and space into the future and prophecized to return to enact revenge on the inhabitants of this world.

Or if you're thinking about other civ more tech advanced than Mu and shown so far in the manga would be either the Mirishials, the No. 1 Civilized nation at the center of this world or the Gra Valkas which have been mentioned in passing before as expanding their influence and taking territories from the 2nd civ area and now finally properly revealed in the last page.

Everyone pitying her are forgetting that she was literally "recruiting" poor people to "dragon feeding" duty, she can be fixed but it's too late for her now.

Starting from WW2 you get technology, where having zero casualties fights is not a given anymore.

Especially if that nation has a big standing army or manpower and lots of war supplies. :salute:
While that may be true, air superiority is still king in modern warfare, and I severely doubt a WW2 plane can compete with modern fighters and bombers in any capacity.
Its not gonna be as lopsided as vs an 18 century army, but it shouldn't be that hard.

For reading comprehension:
last page - 1st panel, bubbles 2&3: "the kingdom of paganda [...] has murdered the special envoys of a new emerging country [japan? depends on if they mean emerging as in one of the colonies that just got their freedom, vs emerging as in summoned into existence] that hailed from the western seas, whose location is not yet described on maps [ok, definitely japan. All other countries have been mapped by Mu and the empire]"
I think it is fairly obvious the narrator is claiming that paganda killed envoys from japan?

I was almost certain there was a chapter (or rather, more like 3-4 pages) about atlantis (and Mu)... I guess I must be mixing up mangas then? That would explain why it was never ever mentioned besides that scene, afterwards. I went back and scrolled through all past chapters (quickly, so it is very possible I missed something, but when considered alongside the other info I doubt I missed it) and you appear to be entirely correct. Particularly as I found chapter 28, which had the starting scene I remembered where mu talks about atlantis - it just lacks the scenes my memory had appended about camera cutting away for a couple panels as atlantis rises out of the sea and embarks to attack the mainlands.
...Wonder what manga it is I had mixed up with this one though, in that case. But either way, I think it is indeed safe to say that my memory remembered tidbits like mu talking about atlantis, and that mention about an empire returning for revenge, then conflating the scenes into one and adding some extra from elsewhere entirely :p

You're already quoting that part where it says they they HAILED FROM THE WESTERN SEAS!!!!! And at this point in time everyone knows who and where is Japan, go back and look at the map and look at where is Japan Located in the new world? Again you're mixing up stuff.
