Girl was did something bad out of jealousy as a kid, her mom didn't know but she got supported when she got the position, which made her happy.

Her mom treats her bad for "bad" results, and treats her good for the BEST results.

She adapted to that and did anything to get her mom's love and approval.

She did some bad stuff, was gonna do some terrible shit.

But her mind wasn't in the right place, nor was she raised in a good environment.

Sure she's still bad, but she genuinely just needed help.

This was too much man, this is just not right bro...

I get wanting to make her get what she deserves, but this is way WAAAAAY over what she deserves...

Hoping we get a chapter later that shows bitch mind broken getting mercilessly pounded by the ugly bastard. Or just showing her broken after multiple uses.

Daughter too op. Nerf needed

Thanks for the TL
I would have been more shocked by this comment if I hadn't already witnessed your, eh, vivid writing in the comments on Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata
Gotta admit, kinda funny seeing you here as well

This is cartoonish now. There was an interesting premise of a thriller featuring a main character that's between a rock and a hard place. Now we have a ~17 year old mastermind coming up with increasingly unlikely schemes, that end up working out perfectly to mess with an opponent that is nowhere near a match.

I bet we'll learn she somehow informed the stalker of the girl's location too. Regardless, the punishment is over the top silly.

Seeing Yurika naked at the beginning was pretty nice. Her boobs looked about as sad as she was, but they were still ample and cute.

Thank you for the translation.

Yurika seeking validation from her mother, I empathise too much. Not on my own experience, but my father. Surprise, surprise, the issues stemming from his terrible mother caused him to marry my terrible mother. I'm glad, though, I instead sought to resist & fight my mother than seek her love & validation. 😮‍💨
Had to put this manga down for a little bit, was getting worked up with all the flashbacks.

Dont blame the family condition lead to the girl decision
Many example of real life that they can overcome the trauma and act right. They endure, survive and have better life. All you need to is reach outside and there will be help.
If you dont see good people around you then become one.

I'm just gonna put this down here.
I enjoy stories where bullies get what they deserve, even including ones where high schoolers get straight up killed, but this is just fucked up for the sake of being fucked up.
In a lot of cases there's zero reason for the character to be a piece of shit, a lot of them even turn out to be assholes because of their extreme positions of privilege. In contrast, this girl was forced to grow up with a "mother" who would abuse her mentally, emotionally and even physically just for not being absolutely perfect and it got to the point she developed a psychotic obsession with doing anything she can to please this shitstain of a human being. From this chapter, it's also clear that she had nobody else to turn to as her own aunt is clearly also a piece of shit .
So we're given a character that's a mentally, emotionally and physically abused, young teenage girl. Does that excuse her actions in trying to ruin someone else's life? Of course not, but the context is still worth something. There were various different routes it could have gone. For a moment, we were even shown a possible route where the main character could have boosted her own PR by pitying and saving her own enemy who is revealed to be a victim of evil in her own life. Getting the mother arrested could have led to her getting the mental rehab she needed to lead a better life. I would have even been fine with her just offing herself and finally bringing closure to whatever suffering she was going through. That to me would have been a more satisfying outcome than this fucked up ending they gave her.
Whether it be heroes or villains, nobody likes to see characters, who are already drowning in misfortune, continue to suffer such a terrible end after the fact. I feel it's especially so in this case where she didn't even manage to accomplish anything tangible that would have called for such punishment. She wasn't even bullying her classmates, the most she tried to do was spread bad rumors about the fmc and that didn't even work. Besides pushing another little girl when she was a kid, what did she actually do that would have warranted such a horrible end?
Years of piled up mental abuse and trauma with a final trigger caused her to ultimately have a mental breakdown to where she ran out with a knife with intent to harm someone. I'd say she should be arrested and made to go through rehab to get herself right, after all, she is still just a 17 year old girl. Instead she gets kidnapped by a stalker that's been after her since back when she was an even younger girl, thrust right back into the hands of evil, helpless and in a mentally broken state. Like, what the actual fuck?

Anyway, the tldr is that some things are just too messed up for even someone like me to read and this whole situation with this girl is definitely one of them. That left a really bad taste in my mouth and I don't feel good about reading this any further because of it. If you managed to read through this unnecessarily long essay, then thanks I guess, I hope it provided some value or perspective.

Darn I get the feeling karma is gonna come back hard for Sakurako.

Usually when they make a character be this evil in manga/anime they end up paying for their sins by the end.
Who would even strike back though? She's always thinking two steps ahead

I hate how this went. The worst part is if at any point Yurika stopped, things would have stopped progressing. Even the ending here... if she had just stayed at her aunt's and not leave to attempt to murder a family, she would have likely been safe. When someone reveals their craziness, it's time to back off. Honestly, the moment the stalker photo was shown to her she should've stopped in her tracks. There was only one way she could have gotten that private photo, and the ending confirmed that she got it from the source..

Still, I hope she's okay.

Damn bro, that's fucked up. This girl is just a victim through and through, her being an asshole doesn't really make me feel like she deserves any of this. Growing up like that is what made her lose it.
