I thought so too, but upon thinking about it, perhaps they thought it would be troublesome if MB consulted a tech savvy hero like CE on this to check if the tech is legit. In which case, as he’s the only one who seems to have noticed something awry about the “revived” Neo Heroes, they may think it’d be for the best to nip him in the bud now before he spreads his suspicion to the others.
