.. They have magical wood though XDCall it a joke, but it's true. He's prime wife material. Although lacking a bit in sense.
Going from fishing boat to galleon. That's a huge ship, not a boat. Those take several hundred people on board. No wonder the request got denied several times. I don't think that's the ship class they're talking about, though.
The size of the shipyard and the talk about a single cannon kind of makes it clear they're talking about a small ship. Although even a caravel can take a few cannons without trouble, which seems to be roughly what they're talking about.
If the ship's made out of wood, I don't think you need to stress the quality of the nails so much. Those aren't the weak point, unless you have some magical wood.
I think how he worded it and all, I believe no onw subjugated the boss yet. Ergo another first clear then after the big wolf. That is a flag and you successfully raised it. Don't Japanese have any anti-jinxing rituals, ie. knocking on wood?
They probably meant a brigantineCall it a joke, but it's true. He's prime wife material. Although lacking a bit in sense.

Nah he's got a lot of senses!Call it a joke, but it's true. He's prime wife material. Although lacking a bit in sense.
Don't forget this is a game world, a lot of things tend to use exaggerated terms and things that would normally be true of a normal ship here aren't necessarily going to be true in game (hence why they need to consider the weight of the nails and the cannons since buoyancy in games isn't usually as good as it is in the real world.)Going from fishing boat to galleon. Can you point out exactly where I forgot they're explicitly talking with in-game terms rather than real life terms?Don't forget this is a game world, a lot of things tend to use exaggerated terms and things that would normally be true of a normal ship here aren't necessarily going to be true in game (hence why they need to consider the weight of the nails and the cannons since buoyancy in games isn't usually as good as it is in the real world.)
My point is that what makes sense for building a ship in our world and some other game worlds isn't necessarily going to be true in this one, otherwise they wouldn't have to worry about the ship sink just because a couple monsters got on board. In other words, this game world is probably pretty strict with its buoyancy limits, and thus they need to think things through with the other components (since they never discussed wood weight, there's a good chance all wood weighs the same, thus the weight of the nails matter more.)Can you point out exactly where I forgot they're explicitly talking with in-game terms rather than real life terms?
That has nothing to do with in-universe real people using real-life ship classes erroneously. My point is that what makes sense for building a ship in our world and some other game worlds isn't necessarily going to be true in this one, otherwise they wouldn't have to worry about the ship sink just because a couple monsters got on board. They chose to make the nails out of higher quality metals to reduce their weight, since the black iron ones would be too heavy, in the amounts they would be using. Before you argue the point, black iron is not actual iron, it's an in game material that is heavier than regular iron.If the ship's made out of wood, I don't think you need to stress the quality of the nails so much.
