epic battle that ended in sadness on the last page
I think that's the point. She's realizing that how much damage she causes with her selfish nature. She grew up thinking no one would ever help or save her and she had to fight reach where she is. She developed a terrible personality and started taking out her attitude on Lloyd. What is the manga trying ?..
Why is it now following that insufferable piece of shit and likely trying to redeem her for some stupid reason ?
So far everything bad thats happened in the story is connected to her, honestly everything bad happening to her is entirely self-inflicted
So you believe that he would die in a back alley when he can survive in impossible mega monster land?Everyone calls her unredeemable and horrible, but based on the flashbacks to their childhood Lloyd would probably be dead in a back alley
Believe it or not, very few people want redemption for a perennial abuser. Shocking concept, i knowI think that's the point. She's realizing that how much damage she causes with her selfish nature. She grew up thinking no one would ever help or save her and she had to fight reach where she is. She developed a terrible personality and started taking out her attitude on Lloyd.
Everyone calls her unredeemable and horrible, but based on the flashbacks to their childhood Lloyd would probably be dead in a back alley if Ruby had not dragged him along. I personally find following her story now a bit more interesting than watching OP Lloyd one hit everything.
Do you believe if the Demon Lord had come to the Humans and said "Don't use the magic that protects you from monsters, because you are feeding a civilization consuming Fairy Dragon" that they'd have listened in any capacity? Was it a misguided attempt to "save" everyone by causing a war and letting no one on either side know the truth behind her actions? Absolutely. Would some doomer have attempted to wake up the Dragon to wipe out everything had the knowledge been made widespread thinking they can direct the destruction? Almost certainly. If this was a story where Humans and Demons were not in conflict from the jump your idea would have probably worked however.Just a slight injury.
So graceful, even with a dead weight on her back.
That dragon is way too happy.
In the middle of a battle is a perfect time for a history lesson.
This is all information they should've known before, and just waging war to prevent something no one knows about before actually telling anyone and potentially coming to a less hostile conclusion is not the brightest of moves. It just justifies humans trying to exterminate demons.
