It's a strange storytelling choice to claim that they've saved her from a fatal wasp sting a decade later simply because they saved her from a near-fatal wasp sting in the present, but I think the answer is that this story just isn't that deep.
yeah thought the same but i just stopped thinking after like... two pages :kek:

I like that the manga version cut out a lot of fat. And did a good job of showing that the two still love each other. But their own deficiencies and unwillingness to address their problems to each other and communicate meaningfully was what caused them to divorce in the first place.
Also about the wasp thing. Once you develop an allergic reaction, each one will be worse. So the fact that she didn't get stung this time means that if she does get stung 10 years on, she won't have as bad a reaction to it.
Anaphylaxis is wild like that.

Holy cringe, it's just a wasp, not a mountain lion. Don't threaten it and you're good. Wasps can't hear, by the way.

If someone came into the bathroom while I was defenceless and took care of the threat for me, I'd be eternally grateful instead of being weirded out no cap
She doesn’t seem to know that she is allergic and one wasp is not a really that big threat

those wasp are a menace even without allergie, anyway japanase skinship on manga is funny hahaha they are usually so conservative but them there are two girl hugging themselfs while naked, this isn't normal even if both are straight hahahah, glory to fan service i guess
Considering this same casually mentioned another person transitioning a couple of chapters back, I don’t think it’s entirely out of place.

Hilarious that senpai is somehow their wingwoman even without interacting with them in their original history.

"If we work together, both our futures could be changed as well"
Bro, if you worked together you wouldn't have divorced in the first place. You both have a severe case of miscommunication.
At least he realized a bit of that, so we can hope for a brighter future.
Thought Senpai is so nice, I don't know if I want a couple or throuple ending :meguu:

Y'all need to invest in a 2-in-1 touchpad/laptop. Or any laptop with a touch screen.

So you can read by scrolling and tapping with one finger. :smugnako:
I can actually not go back, I try to swipe on other peoples laptops whenever they show me something.

You read the novel? I tried, but I found the translation unbearable

How the fuck does a wasp kill. I know it’s technically plausible, but couldn’t the author actually try

This was a great chapter. But it seems like the whole reconciliation premise of the story is basically concluded already at Ch. 6.
I really liked the initial premise of this manga. But now, the original premise has definitely been thrown out the window. It’s turned into just another generic rom-com. Which is a shame. When I first started reading, I was expecting something more dramatic about their relationship in the first timeline and how they’d try to change it in the current one.

Considering the fact that she said she almost died from the previous wasp sting, I have reason to suspect that it was an anaphylactoid reaction (systemic reaction not caused by IgE immune response). You can still suffer something resembling anaphylaxis without a sensitizing event. What probably killed her that second time was being alone and having a reaction opposed to being in a public place with someone that can activate EMS.

I think this was supposed to be an asian giant hornet (it was definitely a hornet imo) given the size and colouring even if it was called スズメバチ instead of オオスズメバチ. IDK if that actually makes this any more reasonable because idk how aggressive those are. I'm only familiar with regular European wasps and those don't sting that easily ime.

Good point, yeah, I like how their awkwardness is justified and believable, I wish it was the same for that Isekai where a guy spent 30K years with the same person and still gets extremely flustered and doesn't know how to see her.
I like how they act comfortable with each other, I have seen various stories where the writer could not match the ideas they started with, as if they were constrained by the tropes of Manga writing.

The old couple turning young again also comes to mind. They lived together all their life but suddenly act super shy about everything.
The reaction in this chapter is more believable, and it's no wonder senpai is calling them a married couple. It's pretty obvious to any onlooker that they're pretty intimate with each other, even if their relation is hot and cold.
