Cmon bro, get your diy on. Research decorative glassmaking workshops and courses near you, it would certainly be doable to get the broken pieces fused together in a glassmaker’s forge, then ground back to size to fit within the frame. Or take the lazy route and pot a bunch of the shards back together with clear epoxy resin, before sanding and polishing the surfaces to make it almost as thin again.

I know, but it's a combination of things: we are 16 chapters in and the series probably spent a total of 1 chapters worth of pages just focusing on the object itself, no mention of the time spent around it, it's monthly so the pacing is very slow, and the series keeps alternating between the same things again and again (bookmark, smile, books, repeat), which makes the whole thing kinda boring to me. I think they've spent more time on this bookmark than on the actual situation the title of the series is about.

Then next chapter it's probably going to be again "bookmark, he's so nice, I like to see her smile, books" again. Like, it's a nice series, but it's not very good.

And inb4 "but they are teenagers so they blow these kinds of things out of proportion", what might be realistic is not always what is interesting to see/read.
