I see so many people taking her words at face value. The chapter name is secrets, and with all we know about her, there's no reason to believe she's saying the truth here. In fact this comes after her asking him about his secret and him not revealing it, which she KNOWS about.

it would be amusing if the first page of next chapter her going 'just kidding~', wouldn't be surprised if there was some arranged marriabe bs her parents forced her into if not 'this is just a marriage on paper' and the husband is also going around doing friends with benefits too, but would be more interesting backstory if she resented men bc of her marriage too

Hopefully, Gomi actually does some detective work/critical thinking to see if her husband exist or not. Like there's gotta be a picture of the husband in her room or his clothing in her closet or something tangible to make Gomi believe he exist.

Otherwise, I agree. I can see Gomi hesitating before accepting her offer. In his eyes, this is probably his best chance to be in a 'proper' relationship with someone so he's willing to help her commit adultery. The blackmail material can come into play when Gomi becomes too nervous to be in the relationship and tries to back out/ tell her husband the truth.
