Another oddity to add to this manga's publication history. The gap between Volumes 1 and 2 was 8 months, between Volumes 2 and 3 it was 5 months, between Volumes 3 and 4 it stretched to 15 months, between Volumes 4 and 5 it was 9 months, and now Volume 6 is set to release just 2 months after Volume 5.

Truly a mystery. Maybe they're rushing it out because the story is nearing its end and they want to wrap things up as soon as possible? I don't know.

For reference, here's the publication timeline for both the light novel and the manga:

2) Make sure to resolve at least one conflict per volume, but never in the same volume that the conflict was introduced.
3) For each conflict resolved, make sure a new one is introduced.

No, that's the expected case, considering the content of the manga. There's a lot of conflict and crime in the story, but it tilts heavily toward relationship drama rather than physical violence.

Reception to this leg of the story is surely why, like post toilet pimping the reception looked way less positive. Best to sneak out the extra volume sales before people are even aware they dislike the story, especially only volume readers.
