I never said if the plot was smart or not. You asked how she could do that and I explained how this works. It's pretty realistic except for Nanao's lack of self preservation as @IotaCS pointed out:

Again, we know that she's not part of some underground trafficking ring or something like that, plus he's only a student from a middle clad family. I said that MC is more understandable in dropping his guard when it's someone he knows.

It's probably not gonna happen but between the residue drug in his system, some CCs anywhere from the restaurant to the hotel and in between and him literary knowing where she works, that's enough evidence for even Japan to prosecute her.

what mc does is really disappointing...

I mean spoilers suggested he gone to hospital, I suppose to do some tests? Newer spoilers after your post outright say he gone to get video evidence.

Part spoilers also suggest nobody really gets any karma part maybe getting slapped on the wrists, quitting job (or being let go), and maybe beaten up - but no police/jail/etc.

Cuando vi que le dejó una bebida hasta yo me di cuenta de que tenía algo antes de que se la tomara. Me extraña que se la haya tomado igual siendo que, se supone, es un personaje desconfiado e inteligente. Una persona sospechosa, de la cual ya escuchaste que es problemático, te deja una bebida y te la tomas sin dudar?
Todo muy forzado, y como leí por ahí: ¿cómo hizo para llevárselo a un hotel desmayado? Mínimo el detenido haciendo eso.
