This is still an adaptation, but it’s adapting the second volume of the LN. The WN only corresponds to the first LN volume, which was covered in the first four volumes of the manga. The manga has now moved on to adapting the second LN volume.

@deadrabbits is just saying that the story should have ended there and that the second LN volume shouldn’t exist. And I agree. The author went full retard with the writing in the second LN volume, and we’re seeing that now in the manga.

absolutely brilliant move from MC. he told both his boss and GF that he was meeting with the hussy, and now he's getting a drug test from the hospital. that girl's gonna get brought up on charges of drugging and sexual assault.

all of these situations point to something you should do when meeting with these suspicious as hell people:
get a mic for your phone and leave it recording the entire time till you're away from them, or have a cheap phone hidden somewhere recording video. you can take the evidence to the cops or show it to the people the spergs are trying to fuck with.

if the ex girlfriend had recorded that dude from the start, she coulda gone strait to the cops and told them he's trying to blackmail her into illegal prostitution and intent to distribute CP if she didn't

I seriously wish to know what happened to the author.

I mean the first 4 volumes had some issues within them too, but at least it was readable. But whatever this shit now is, isn't it. Its like author had a stroke and became retarded or something, or was replaced by someone else. To much drama, rape/SA kind of drama, characters became borderline brain-dead, cartoonishly evil, etc.

Maybe author had a significant other, and around the mid point between volume 1 and 2 of LN they got NTRed or something and developed hatred towards manipulative people/cheaters and hence why all this shit was pushed into 2nd volume?
