Somewhere after the second season anime material, he starts acting like he can ride off the sunk cost fallacy, animeonly who didn’t want to touch the manga in fear of spoiler, while throwing bones in form of empty plot twists to keep people high on hopium that something meaningful is finally coming.

Well, it works. But not a pleasant experience.
